Norfolk Girl Scout Troop #3616 Visits the Bullard Farm

In March, Elizabeth Hathaway hosted a local Girl Scout Troop at the Bullard Farm.  They were there to work on their “Listen to the Past” Try It badge.

The Girl Scouts enjoyed a tour of the outbuildings, museum, and house.  Elizabeth shared the history of the family and property, and led discussions on life on a New England farm in the 18^th Century.  The girls learned about hearth cooking, sewing, clothing and games.  There was also a fun Bullard Farm trivia contest.
